Archetype: Jesus The Savior Hero

"Spreadjesus.org." Jesus the Savior (Short Story) There Was a Former Drunkard Who Got Converted to Christianity. N.p., n.d. Web. 20 Nov. 2015.

The statement or concept of Jesus as or being a Savior Hero has been up for discussion and disputed for thousands of years, and still is today.  However, contrary to what some may say or believe, Jesus is a true example of a Savior Hero.  Savior heroes sacrifice themselves for the well-being of others.  The reason for this is stated in some Bible scriptures below-because He is the Almighty.

"Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A righteous God and a Savior; There is none except Me. "Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.

                                                                                           Isaiah 45:21-22

"I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me.

                                                                                           Isaiah 43:11

"Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. "For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. "God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.

                                                                                           Genesis 45:5-7

"THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT. 'EVERY RAVINE WILL BE FILLED, AND EVERY MOUNTAIN AND HILL WILL BE BROUGHT LOW; THE CROOKED WILL BECOME STRAIGHT, AND THE ROUGH ROADS SMOOTH; AND ALL FLESH WILL SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD.'"

                                                                                           Luke 3:4-6
